I’ve been struggling with lower back pain for 15 years and wish I had found this place sooner.  Referred by Dr David Johnson I signed up to the 6 weeks program.  At the start I was dubious as it seemed basic and slow but my back has never been better.  The staff are all super friendly and I have recommended the program to many others.  Thanks guys.

If you want to learn how to move correctly then this is the place where you will do that. Imagine if potentially Chiropractors, massage therapists, etc could be a thing of the past. You will get the skills and get help to build strength and develop a plan to support your goals, I did. It is great value for money as it will get you back to work quicker and or back into the things you love to do or used to love to do.

I couldn’t thank Dr David Johnson and Rachael enough for their assistance in ensuring a successful rehabilitation after major surgery. Learning to move properly is crucial for ongoing spinal health. Much like first aid and CPR, Functional movement  should be a program we all learn in our early years to maintain a healthy spine. I wish I completed this program 20 years ago. 

The Functional Movement Training Centre provided essential education on supporting my back post-surgery. The 6-week NeuroHAB program was life-changing, offering tools I now use daily. The facilitators were knowledgeable, encouraging, and took the time to address individual concerns with care. Thank you for making the physio both effective and enjoyable.

After 12 years of chronic low back pain and trying various treatments, the 6-week NeuroHAB course delivered far better results than expected. A mystery pain I’ve had for years drastically subsided, allowing me to lift weights again and stop taking anti-inflammatories. This course helped me understand how to prevent my symptoms from recurring. No doctor’s referral needed—just discuss with Jamy-Lee.

After 5 months of ineffective treatments for lower back pain, a neurosurgeon suggested a disc fusion. Instead, I saw Dr. David Johnson, who educated me on movement and referred me to his Functional Movement Training Centre. I started the program in severe pain and unable to twist or bend, but by the end, I was pain-free, doing circuit training, weighted deadlifts, and rowing.

After a severe lower back injury, I thought my future was pretty bleak. I believed my career was finished, and a pain free future was a pipe dream. Dr Johnson and his team spent the time assessing, then taking me through the Neuro Hab course. I only wish I had the foundational understandings of movement 20 years ago. It required a mind reset, but over 12 months on, all I can say is very little, if any, pain.

I have been able to get BACK into everything that I usually do (carrying my 3 year old daughter, going on walks, even sleeping) WITHOUT PAIN OR PAIN RELIEF MEDICATIONS! Has been an amazing turn around from 18 months ago when I had a back injury that made me feel much older than my years
